August 25, 2009 Circulation Report
Unfortunately, as noted the last report
(June 17), my service provider reset the figures so they now only
account back to January 1, 2009, which jumbles the standings for page
hits a bit. Before this, the figures went back to August 2006. However,
this does give perspective on what older pieces are still being read
this year. In addition, the service provider may have stopped counting
some hits during an indeterminate amount of time between mid-June and
late July before this was discovered, after coverage of the Montreal
Comedy Festival, and it's unclear if any hits for pages went uncounted
during those weeks.

Numbers in parentheses point to the figure for that page on previous
report of June 17. Also noting which stories from Montreal Just For
Laughs festival had the most hits. As explained above, it's uncertain if
some hits for Montreal festival stories went uncounted due to the
service provider's lapse. Extraneous items like indexes and pictures are
omitted. Bolded items had big gains (so hats off to Sarah Silverman and
Dane Cook).
